About This Game

Mirror’s Edge introduces players to Faith, a “runner” in a world where communication channels are highly monitored and the movement of human traffic is closely watched. When Faith’s sister gets framed for a murder she did not commit, Faith finds herself on the edge of the city, on the wrong side of the law.

Mirror’s Edge delivers players straight into the shoes of this modern day heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat, fast-paced chases and challenging puzzles. With a never-before-seen sense of movement and perspective, players are drawn into Faith’s world.

  4. mirror edge looks like a bad mimic by electronics art ,for ubisoft assassin creed and prince of persia especially in environment and texture without mention the story line and the character abilities especially braking down the glass with her bare arm.

  5. The design in both Mirror's Edge games is so good, not just the mysterious architectures but also the way how colors are effectively used in a minimal way per level. Sometimes I just stare at the environments in the game while playing. Really wish there would be a third game.

  6. It’s crazy because this is what living in New York City or Chicago is like. Always some type of construction. All these alleys and corridors, rooftops, scaffolds, just, all over the city. I live in Urban Miami now and it’s a lot like that too, but, not on the scale of New York and Chicago.

  7. This game is almost timeless with its graphics, only thing I dont like is the 3d character models but even those are really good, just a little older

I also find it quite silly that a city will send snipers and a chopper on 1 person, girl has a gta 5 star 24/7

  8. 1:00.18 That's easily one of the scariest images I've ever seen in a video game. No Lovecraftian monsters, no survival-horror stuff. Just a 500-ton train speeding at 80 mph towards your face. The subway is one of the scariest parts in the whole game.

Mirror's Edge is awesome. I hope we'll get a genuine sequel sometime soon (not another prequel).

  9. Loved this game, – really made me feel fear of heights at certain points, – the story was cool and animations fun, thanks to the characters as well and the environment in which they are set up.
Mirror's Edge is almost like a soft but effective Cyberpunk setting that takes place in more of a corrupt utopia rather than something of a dystopia.
Hated it when Merc and his place got shot up… even though you barely see it, it just completely vibed with me, – such a fucking awesome set up I thought… this surveillance place made by a guy where runners can hang out, and through him help each other, mutual friends in a struggle to keep the human spirit free that has them grow ever more close. –

I remember this being called ahead of its time and demonstrated the future of gaming,

I guess this is farewell for now. – can't believe it's been so long ago though, almost 12 years, yet watching this feels like I played it not even a year ago lol.
